A few pix of the TT2 rep I bought last year from a UK collector. History unknown other than it came via John Hackett & maybe was sourced by Tony Smith from a dealers window in Italy! Stickers from DECCLA & blue plates (with yellow beneath) indicate it might have seen action in that series before becoming a static display.
I'm leaving as much as possible "as is" but removing the original glassware to safety & replacing them with new moldings & an alloy tank. I like to use my bikes at events such as the Spa "Bikers Classic" & UK classic trackdays so I couldn't bear to see the OE kit take a tumble or be damaged in transit. I'll get a lick of paint applied to the replacement bits when the whole thing is shaken down & I find a fairing replacement.
I did look up Orsenigo which is a dealership near Milan - no reply to my emails so far.
Hope you like the "time warp" bike & approve of my intentions to use it & let the enthusiasts see all that 80s bling
If anyone can throw some light on its history I'd love to hear from you.
Mike
I have a "norvin998" gallery of pix on this forum but dont see a way to link them to this posting.
