Hi mates,

Just a small post to introduce a newby -myself- and its '86 F1.
The bike is almost un-upgraded, I try to solve issues as they occur :D

Image

cylinders Nikasil-replated (but not repainted), new rings, mono tail section, braided lines, clutch system changed for a 26mm piston and an open-milled cover,PHF36 carbs overhauled last winter and put some trumpets with gauze on them. That's almost it.
Maybe I will put some radial master cylinders, maybe not. I found some nice Magura from Germany, but I fear that Ducati-integrists will throw me stones if I do it (they are quite numerous in France, well at least proportionally over-represented in the population).

If anybody has some infos, I'd like to change the Conti and replace it by a Verlicchi or something "conical" in the end (and shorter than the Conti).
Otherwise I'm fine with it!
Not riding as much as I would, but I'm still young and got plenty of time

This is the motorcycle that made me passionate about Ducati's. It is truly the last of the 'hand built', low production race successful models that made Ducati famous for transforming passion to two wheels. I love this motorcycle in its original 'as delivered' form.

Greg
