When you say 851 you must be very careful. The early sets worked with 280mm rotors just fine, but the later versions (probably for the Paso 900ie, but LOOK the same) were for 320mm rotors and very narrow spacing. 750 Paso versions work with 280mm rotors and f08 calipers, and can take 300 rotors with 40mm calipers using adapters. Hi guys thanks for the info.I am aware of the differences in the different models but have some wheels and disks and calipers to suit an 90 851 so they would be my first preference.cheers

Yes, there is that version too. But they are also designed for the modern wide-hub wheel and rather-flat (10mm offset) 300mm discs. It depends on the look and the vintage of the wheels he intends to use. I am just saying be sure that what you buy goes with the wheels and discs planned. MikeV

A '90 851 would have 320 rotors and wheels to suit. The only M1R fork sliders with caliper mounting positioned for that combination were off '89 and '90 851's, and '92 907ie's...and they're scarce.
