I have a sidestand on my '88 750F1, but it is too short at 9.5" from pivot bolt to foot. So the bike leans over too much when I use the sidestand.

Does anyone have the proper sidestand to sell? Failing that, how long should the sidestand be?

I have both centre and side stand on my F1. My side stand is a Alazzurra and i just welded an extension with a foot onto it. I added 75mm and it works fine. Can post a photo if you need. Jon

Hi - just measured my ex-Montjuich sidestand and it is approx 312mm (12 1/4") from centreline pivot to heel (i.e. its maximum length from c/l). Yours at 9.5" seems to be around 2 3/4" too short. Hope this helps - Richie.

I think mine is also from an Alazzurra. It looks just like the one richieg posted, except:

* it is black
* it is shorter (obviously)
* I took an angle grinder to it, removing the toe extension

Thanks for the length info, I can weld an extension onto mine but just wasn't sure how long to make it!
