Hi Mike,
Those are great calipers. You need to be a little resourceful to rebuild those baby's. I got the last of the 120.2799.40 kits from TAW years ago. For seals use (2) 120.2799.10 per caliper. http://www.oppracing.com/product_display/30951-brembo-oe-brake-caliper-seal-set/ Don't need the outer seal. If you must replace the pistons, it's a little harder. You have to face off, for example, http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=120.2679.20 to the length of the pistons you took out. Good pads are readily available, they use the same pads as the 30/34 single pin calipers. On iron rotors I really like Ferodo #FRP408CP1 (CP1 compound) for race, or their #FRP408P (Platinum compound) for street. Good luck with them.
Bill

Thanks Bill, that's the confidence I needed.
Britz have been very helpful. They even have a matching break & clutch master cylinder set. Another $1,100
We need to have deep pockets to pursue this passion.

Sweet! Go for them!! Once your wallet recovers, I think you'll always be glad you did. Good brakes and wheels are the hardest things to get really right, IMO.

Hi Mike,
Going back to your original posting with regard to matching clutch master cylinder. I seem to recall my Bimota DB1 was fitted with this type both sides so that may be another line of enquiry for you. As mentioned elsewhere they were probably converted from the standard plastic reservoir m/cyl (by Bimota??) so maybe some old stock conversion plates out there somewhere. Incidentally if you need soft, flexible clear feed tubing from the reservoirs try plasticised PVC which worked for me with standard Glycol brake fluid. I think trade name was "Tygon" from Parmer-Cole manufacturer. Good luck with your search - Richie.

I know Carlo makes the round remote reservoir conversion adapter plates.
