For those of you in OZ and NZ, here are some race cams. I see they are both Vs (two vertical cams; will work). MikeV

I don't see the tach drive gear for the horizontal cyl on either of those.

...does V mean Vertical, and one of the two cams should have an H stamped on it instead of a V? Hence no tach drive gear?

Cheers,
MikeA

Hello, I have 2 cams vertical, the seller did see the adjustable pulleys with the keys, the gear for the tachometer, is a free ring, which is tucked inside the cam.

The timing could also be the find, but those who buy this type of cam should have much familiarity with degrees of openness and freedom of timing.

I hope that the message has been clear. Hello from Italy.

The tach big worm gear does not have a slot for a key; it is held tight from both sides when all is tightened; it acts like a spacer in some ways. Ducati engine cases have more than one left-over feature scattered here and there --- like the lug with the threaded slot for the manual clutch cable (long gone) that has recently been used for a grounding cable attachment.
