He sure likes the VERY HIGH lift (13.1mm) , and them slam-them-shut setup doesn't he! Not very kind on the valve seats. These are definitely for torque, and not for high RPMs (not a lot of overlap). These specs are same as the DP versions (09?) for the 900SS, and I have seen those sets repeatedly re-sold before use (myself included) because of the difficulties with assembly. The longer duration of the NCR and Montjuich and GCM cams may present some problems, but much less than these, in my opinion. Yes, I am a heretic. Buying two 900SS, or ST2, or 900IE front cams may be the best compromise if the vintage versions cannot be found. MikeV
PS: Does anyone know that ORSP still has F1 "race cams" listed? They are in the No. 8 Slinn/Rutter Pantah engine, and I had no problems with them.
