I think thats a stock mounting on the rear for a late bike. It looks a little different I think because normally you cant see it if it has a stock/black plastic inner fender. The inner fender on this one has been trimmed or is different. I think this is the bike that sold at the Bonhams/Vegas auction for $11.5K earlier this year.

And, have not seen one of these for a while.
