Hi, This is a little unrelated to this forums main interest, so I hope no one minds. I'm looking for a set of (save-able to new) 96mm cylinders for the Adamo/Leoni 851 Tricolor racer I'm rebuilding. Bruce Meyers now has the engine apart and has me looking for a set. Ideally we would like a set intended for 851 cases, a 926 big bore kit type, that would fit the case cylinder openings. The 916 type 955 big bore kits also had 96mm cylinders, and if a set of those were available, we could bore the cases. 916 SP and SPA also had 96mm cylinders. Bruce would like to stay away from the steel liner cylinders if possible. The cylinders that were in it are the steel ones, which are at 95mm, but with nasty machining marks. As a last resort we could bore those to 96mm, but prefer not to use them. Any help locating a usable set would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bill |
