Does anyone have an old F1 steering damper that they would like to sell? It doesn't have to work - I'm chasing the original mounting bracket that clamps around the damper tube & bolts to the frame. I'm happy to pay for something in good condition.

Thanks, but that's not the end I'm looking for. I need the one that clamps around the cylinder & mounts to the frame - this wasn't sold as an individual part, and was only available with the damper assembly.

Is this the part you were asking me about? Surprisingly, it's not a spherical rod end, but a small bearing in the housing with a sleeve in the i.d. to reduce it down for the 8mm thru bolt. It doesn't have any identifying numbers on it. Never seen one like it before, and I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear. Please let me know if you need any more help.
