Well, 18 months later, I'm finally just about ready to put the F1 back on the road. But still no luck with oil cooler bracket (1987 750 F1S). Anybody able to help me?

The oil cooler brackets (which mount to the headlight bracket) on my F1 have both failed, necessitating the use of zip ties to hold the oil cooler on. Looking for replacements. Don't need concours-quality, my F1 is a rider...or will be again once I fix the transmission input shaft bearing. Send e-mail stevegross *at* ameritech *dot* net. |

I picked a set up from Gowandaloch in Australia about 6 months ago. They look like "o" rings to me - I have a pair - let me know if you want me to measure them. Gene |

I'm pretty sure that you're chasing the actual aluminium mounts (P/N 067093130) - if so PM me your details & I'll send you a couple that came off mine (they're not perfect but are still intact). Clinton |
