I'm looking for a toasted gas tank for a TT2 e.g blown with ethanol fuel, leaking & unrepairable or in some way damaged beyond economic repair but still recogniseable as a TT tank from the top. I'm looking at an idea to provide a cheaper alternative to an ethanol proof alloy tank & lighter than an epoxy lined glass one. I've just done a glass TT tank with an epoxy resin available here in the UK & its added over a kilo which makes a nonsense of having expensive "weightsaving" Campags I'm in manchester UK. |

When I line them with epoxy I only use 480 gram of epoxy and I have about 200 gram leftover when done. You could also try to make one in carbon with epoxy resin? Jarno |
