GTR Torana? Edit: Ahhh the Indy orange Monaro below... ;) Nice!

MadMax, can you post a pic of your Monaro so that our friends overseas can see what a true blue Aussie Muscle car of the 1970s looks like?

Still looking for ONE red bar end, any useable condition. Just one more, I promise. That's it! Uno.

Thanks Boucher,

I was never sure if the "G.S.G." Double System air shocks and the "G.C.B." forks were made by the same company. I am thinking they were made by tow different companies, though I do believe that the G stands for Gazzaniga in both cases.

LinK: -->Very special Magnesium front fork made by GCB. Only 2 unit ever made. Exact same spec as Lucchinelli's Daytona TT1.

Cheers,
MikeA

Well it seems that GSG forks are looking more like the stuff of legend, with perhaps less than a handful having ever been made???

After Boucher's heads-up with the article below I sent an email to Storz Performance to find out if they still had any.
Below is Steve Storz reply:

On 7 November 2014 12:02, Storz Performance <admin@storzperf.com> wrote:

Hi Mike,

You've un-earthed some obscure front fork history! Unfortunately we don't have any of these forks in our inventory. You might try contacting GCB Special Forks in Italy, but generally they are not responsive about product inquiries.

We showed these fork in our 1989 catalog, but I'm not sure that we ever sold a set. I was at Laguna Seca in July of 1987 when Luchinelli used them to win the race there. I asked him how he liked them and he replied that they were "very smooth".

I do know that his bike with these forks is in the Ducati Museum in Bologna.

Sorry, I don't have any info about GSG shocks.

Kind regards,

Steve Storz
