I think you need a set from the first versions of the 900SS Superlight. MikeV |

Yes, first generation of Superlight had 17" versions of the same. You would probably need to do a little work to make them fit. They are getting fairly hard to find in useable condition though, as the magnesium centres need to be maintained. Typically they had a Di-chromate coating applied to seal the magnesium. This coating can be damaged over time which leads to water ingress and the magnesium becoming brittle. |

Carlo, I was replying to Alvsey, because he wanted "modern" rubber, and thought he meant 17-inch tires. He may not be able to get the "golden tires" brand. You have found good tires, your bike is perfect, and we have seen you ride it like it was on fire using tires of mahogany! MikeV |

Golden tyres hey ? Have never seen them in OZ but will make some enquireys. Apparently Avon make some 16 inch tyres also but, only in a sport tourer rear. Still better than what I have currently......In the end, as per my original post a set of 17 inch rims would be the best option, as once sorted in opens up a whole new world of tyre selection.. Steve, what are the three spoke wheels you have fitted to your F1 off and was it much messing around to get to fit correctly ? I have access to lathes etc to make spacers if required. Thanks once again guys.....The old girls is in pieces at the moment having a good clean up and service as she deserves
