That price for the oil cooler "o" rings is unbelievable!!! By now I guess most of the original rings will, like mine, have expired. They were not really "o" rings in the accepted sense, rather a very resilient item which I would guess to have been specially made (looks like closed-cell expanded PU). You may find regular "o" rings to be too in-elastic and nitrile does not work well with UV light. Instead I went back to my old racing days when we used old innertube for strapping all sorts of things down (mostly batteries). I used an old Michelin Butyl 2.75"/3.25" tube and cut 7mm wide rings from it (the tube I used measured 90mm across when laid flat). If you use a sharp Stanley knife and steel rule you can make a nice job of them. You can vary the width to slightly "adjust" the resilience. Mine have been fitted now for about 3 years without any signs of perishing - definitely worth a try, Richie.

Hello Friends, for my race bike, I use the normal type hose clamps to tighten the plastic, I know that here we are talking about originality, but in a competitive field I've had all kinds of problems, but not a radiarore engine oil I was never disconnected. I also used another strategy, but then I continued to use it, because the system with the straps to tighten the easier it is durable and quick changes. I'll show you the project on my mono 500 ducats. Ciao!. Carlo

At my Moretti # 5 I did this, I know that is not very pretty to look at, but I assure you that it works and does not break anything. I just wanted to let you see the crap of my work! ![]() With great humility Carlo Leoncini! ![]()

I bought some o-rings for my F1 from this place recently. http://www.theoringstore.com/. They were quick and they weren't $115, it was $6 per ring. They come in different sizes and thickness, works great. |

Thanks for posting that link. I needed new o-rings for my fuel line quick disconnect fittings. Gave them a call and they were very helpful and inexpensive. Bill |
