The long suffering Antonella, one in a million... You're a lucky man Carlo.
Cal, 400 Yamaha ? What is the head from? and the canister below the front of the tank ?
3 1/2 Morini yes please,,,,
Le Manns, yes again,
SFC Lav ? the Italians know how to build beautiful bikes. Pure passion...
Benelli SEI, cop that Mr Honda,,,
SS and chook chasers, nice.
And Rickman.
Seems most are still silly buggers playing with motorcycles.

Graeme put it right......I think we are all long time silly buggers that havent changed much for decades.....I wonder how many younger people are on this forum.....meaning under 40?? Graeme you asked...... - on the RD400....there were lots of after market parts for those RD's, those gold radial heads and the expansion chambers were made by DG. The canisters look like they might be boost bottles or something, if you look close, those were big automotive ignition coils clamped to the frame. Beas42, nice Benelli.....I had one for a little while so I must show it Some other 80's junk I have had......87 LMIV SE, 83 BMW, 86 SRX, (but most of these I had post 80's) Clay

I must say that this topic has fully hit our physical and mental conformation, it would take me hours to reply to all my friends, who have dusted off old photos, and memories of an age, aime ', it will never come back, .. ..but ..... but ..... remember that age is based on behavior, from the desire to still learn, understand, and remain humble by listening, I believe that Graeme is right saying that there is no young they are, my boys we were lucky, we lived in an age where we could do what we want, we were guided by our fathers, who with advice from those who suffered from hunger, and a few kicks in the ass, addressed us to our life, look at the difference on these photos, and what we needed to have fun, we young people of that time, this must make us think, I hope with all my heart that the new generations, take pleasure in getting their hands dirty with oil and fat, and admire a sunset on a spring evening to. I embrace you all very tightly, and remember that friendship is not the frequency of meetings, but the intensity. Carlo Leoncini. ps. sorry my English.

Before Pantah….. came bevel. Just out of school my friend Rich convinced me that I needed a bike (late 1970s). Is a used 860GT a good choice? I learned to ride and wrench. The ape hangers would be replaced and I would save for a proper jacket. That bike and I would travel all over Europe and the US. Just now doing what I realize is the 5th major overhaul of this bike! -Cranky- Plenty of hair so my large borrowed helmet would fit!
