What were you riding in the mid's 80s before Pantah??

For fun, I was just looking back at some old stuff, in the early/mid 80's when the Pantahs/F1 came out, I didnt have any money, looking at an F1 was like looking in the window at a Ferrari....no way did I have the kind of mad money needed. I wasnt racing so motorcycles were just a recreational toy.

Chime in....what were you riding at the time.

Something Japanese, judging by the clock : Honda and a four.
Here are (some of) my mid 80's stuff.
Race transport, riding for fun/in the dirt/in the rain/in town/in the snow.
And indeed : I too lusted after a F1, but since there was only 1 that was faster than my bevel, didn't want to make the swap.
Anyone can tell where the Fiat Ducato (of course) was taken ? Not many passes have 30+ hairpins

Bevel...yeah!!! On the red bike, where did you get those trick articulated rear shocks. What is the white enduro?? On the pass?????

Yeah...you guessed right on my teaser shot.....a Rickman CR750 sohc. They were very expensive to build when new, but I got it when it was 13 years old/out of date and needing some work.

In no particular order : 750SS, Fiat Ducato on Passo Stelvio #31, townbike Honda CBT125, TGM250 Enduro, Suzuki TS125 and at last Ducati Rolly.
The Suzuki was rearended at traffic light.
Those were the days and they're gone

Rickman eh, and where's the Scitsu or Krober :shock:

From here in US.....Carlo cool on that Yuma!! I like your white belt and the hair too :-)

I have never seen one of those Yuma's in US, only in pictures.

I have never seen TGM in US either. TGM relationship with Cagiva??
