Well......let the fun begin. I am gonna get serious about getting the F1 freshened up. I wont post much up as this is more of a clean up/maintenance, return to stock condition exercise. This one has sat for lots of years and was raced in the past. Thanx to MikeV, I got some stock F1 parts that I needed.

Bout time. Did you find a chain guard yet? MikeV

PS: i just remembered that my F1 was a AFM racer for a short while. Rebuilding/restoring it was Ducati 101 mechanics class for me.

Hi Clay.
Don't forget to put a nice round reservoir pump on the clutch  ;)

I just took that off :-0......the bike has a brand new Sureflex clutch set up that was put on by previous owner. The clutch was so hard to pull and would lock up at the handle before full stroke. Figured it was moving too much fluid. I got that brand new coffin style master with the bike so I figured.....lets try it. It does work way better but still very stiff. The clutch does work now but when it heats up it drags some and judders some, so gonna have to take that part. I may need some dry clutch voodoo help.

No.....did not find a guard in US. I modified a parallel twin guard by chopping off some brackets and making a tweak in it. Its very close to right.....close.
