What type of fuel tank would be fine for a f1 frame ( to replace steel tank, corroded inside)

The TT1/F1 24 litre tank would look great though no-one anywhere in the world currently makes a reproduction of the 24 litre TT1 tank. (FYI: TT2 tanks are 20 litres)

Now, is there anyone on this forum who has access to a 24 litre TT1 tank and the industry contacts to build the worlds first line of reproduction TT1 fiberglass tanks?

The TT tanks are much longer than the F1. I went down that road (briefly) a couple of years ago and while it looked pretty simple to make a few mounting mods to make it fit, you'll find yourself sitting a few inches further back on a bike that already suffers from vague steering feedback and chatter when pushed hard.

And it just didn't look right.. If rust and corrosion are the only issues with your tank, why not consider coating it? I've been using the Caswell product for many years with great success. http://www.caswellplating.com/restoration-aids/epoxy-gas-tank-sealer.html
