Hi Rich,
Were you able to make the gasket work for the fuel tank? Your bike is 3.6 pounds lighter then mine. Put some pictures of it on the forum.

Steve,
How much does the yellow bike weight.

Barber should be great fun, looking forward to seeing everyone.

Hi Gary,

Yes, thanks so much. It helped alot. I was able to make a good tank filler cap gasket with what you sent. I haven't ridden it yet with a full tank and lots of swishing so I'm not 100% sure it is tight, but it seems good so far. I need a shakedown run before Barber.

I'm ashamed to say I haven't been able to post pictures yet and I have lots of them. Last few times I tried and failed. I still need to figure it out.

I was a bit surprised and happy it weighed only 322 lbs. I remember it was 335 back in the day.

Hey, Rich:

Should be easy (although not as intuitive as it could be)..

Below the area used to compose your post (you may have to scroll down to see it) there are two tabs: 'Options' and 'Upload Attachment'. Go to the 'Upload Attachment' tab and hit the 'Browse' button to select from your hard drive the image you want to post. 'Add the file' and then browse for the next one. 'Place inline' is optional. but helpful if you want to change the order in which the images uploaded appear.

There's no size limit set, but I've had the forum time-out when I upload an image greater than 2mb.

Let me know if you still have problems, OK?

Regards,

It looks like the Loudbike F1 800 has achieved "Legendary Status" on ebay. Sadly the Loudbike logo has been edited from the picture.

WOW, Barber was great fun. It was really good to see everyone and boy what a great track to ride. We had a lot of engine issues in getting the bike ready for the Barber event and actual had to build the motor like twice after some experimental parts failed at a test and tune trackday two weeks before Barber. We ended up with a mild 86 hp motor that ran good all weekend. The grid was pretty full with 33 bikes in BOT3 class and I got to start toward the middle in each of the two races on row 6 on Saturday and row 5 on Sunday (I haven't had to start that far back in years) I ended up with a 3rd on Saturday and a 4th Sunday which was all great fun.

I've been watching the site for any info of how you all went, you were the only name I recognised.

Thanks for the report, And to Steve for the pictures and videos.
