I didn't catch that the Goldentyre was a radial - thanks for the heads up. If the Avons will fit, I am inclined to go with them for the sake of the stickier compound. Don't ask me why. I watched Ray Hill clean up with an RD-400 Yamaha on rock hard K-91's back in the 70's. (sitting bolt upright in the corners, I might add.) So while I know that all the decent tires are better than I am, my vanity won't allow it. Thanks for all of the input.
