Hi, Take a look, what model are these calipers......late 80s gold billet. Then nos baby brembo, I think its an F04, some people liked these little tiny numbers for road race rears. Then, maybe a very early brembo radial master cylinder,. I would like to Id the models on these. Pretty cool old stoppers. Thanx, Clay

Very nice brake parts! Cranky should know the p/n's for the calipers and master. I know a little about the tiny F04. It has been made by several different manufactures since Brembo/MQ, and is now popular with ultralight aircraft builders and on trials bikes. Since I have that little brembo, do you think it would be worth mounting it up? I dont think I would go out and buy one....but they must work somewhat. I had heard that even some 851 guys were using these on the back. It must have just been for "weight" purposes. |

Well it's probably not best for heavier use, you'll have to make all your mounting brackets for it, and the rotors it is meant to work on are in all likelihood not going to bolt right up on the Ducati Pantah type wheels we mainly use, as well as them being small, thin, delicate, and harder to come by. But, it is great for saving on un-sprung weight and will pass tech inspection. |
