I charge it between sessions but it never gets very low. I'm sure it would run all day with out charging it. I don't have a starter on the bike so the battery is pretty much just for the ignition (Ignitech). Right now the engine is 814cc and the bike resides in Southern California.

Very nice on the bikes......Thanx for sharing.

My old F1 was on total loss too. It ran longer than I expected.....but then I was always nervous of running out of juice. When the electric start was on it.....that would take a toll.....but running a standard Yuasa AGM I could probably get 3 electric starts and three 15 min sessions on it with no problem. I dont know how much longer it would go.

Hi Frank - Getting back to your original problem. Had similar myself 3 years ago. Cleaned contacts on starter/killswitch as you did - still not starting! Loom runs from switch unit to block connector (underneath headlight on road bikes). Traced fault to poor crimping on 1 of the 3 pins (corrected with soldering iron) - problem solved. Hope you have similar as it is easy solution - Richie.

Yes, that's always been suspect. With the help of a forum member, the switch will be replaced. The action of the stater button always bothered me as did the soldered connections at the switch. Hopefully that will solve the problem. Oh, and a new battery.
