Trying to get my 40 mm carbs to idle’ Starts well with enrichner levers in up position’ When it’ warm I can shut off the rear enrichner an. It will.continue to run but when I shut off the front the motor dies’ The screws adjusting the slides are screwed in for a higher rpm to try to keep it running’ Maybe the idle jet is clogged?

Sure sounds like it, I usually take all the rubber parts pot and soak the whole carb in a can of berrymans, float bowl off, then hide a bath in hot water and dawn. Give them a blast of and done. Paul
