Hey Guyz,
The stock F1 shock is tired and leaking. What are reasonable priced options, not going to spend $1500 on a Wilburs/Penske/Olin. Can the rear shock be rebuilt.....but they weren't very good to begin with. Heard a Duc 916 OEM shock is a good option? what else?

Thanx,
Clay

oh......forgot to ask, for a street bike, if change out shock? stay with stock length or ?

My F1 has a Hagon that suits me well. Most Hagon shocks are well made and less expensive that Öhlins et al.

Yes, the first version 916/748 shock will fit, and is same 12” length. See photos near end of my Laguna Seca clone build. Trouble is they are all used, and now very “tired”. MikeV

Hi Clay. The YSS is a good value. I have used it on my XTZ and I find it acceptable.

For the F1 project, I got a brand new original Marzocchi a few years ago.

I agree that the YSS brand is good quality and price.
I was told by a suspension fellow that they are (Taiwanese ?) copy of Ohlins.
