Has anyone done the upgrade to the starter circuit using the 4 gauge wire and better connectors? Motolectric sells one but I'm thinking of making my own.

I almost did it on the No 8 Pantah replica, and decided I did not want to fight with the difficulty of finding good terminals to fit the odd combination of a very small circle (for the bolts) and that huge grudgingly-bending 4-quage wire. Maybe with some giant high-compression engine it is needed, but not with the 650-750s. A battery with more CCA and good wires does fine. MikeV
