Hi,
On the Dellorto 36phf there is an O ring (but with L shaped cross section) seal in the throat of the carb that sits between the nylon carb sleeve and the carb body. When mounted the manifold butts up to this to seal the carb/manifold joint. Are you guyz buying these or just replace with a standard 0 ring to get by. If someone knows a good replacement, let me know.

Thanx much,
Clay

Hi Cal...
The nylon insulator on the M, PHF series carb (L shaped seal) is different from the A, PHF series carb (regular O ring) insulator. The M series seals both the insulator and carburetor spigot ends. An upgrade, in my opinion, to the A which only seals the insulator end. Go to Bevel Heaven, look at the parts manuals for the 500 Pantah and the Alazzurra and you will see the difference.

Hey......Thanx for response Flatty.....

I do see what you mean. I will have to do some research to see if I can find those "L" rings somewhere. Bevel Heaven says they are out of them.

Thanx.......that guy has lots of stuff. I have bought from him in the past and his prices are usually about as cheap as you will find. He does have that rebuild kit with the seal I am looking for. But being the cheap ass that I am, it always bugs me that I need the one part and have to buy the whole kit.....by the time you ship and tax it......its only $20 per O ring :-)

While on the subject of cheap parts......some of you may want to check out
http://guzzino.com/index.html

They are going out of business and blowing out what's left. Quite a few small parts at half price or less, grips, hoses, petcocks, filters, carb parts, etc etc. No affiliation, just thought I would mention it.

Hi......
OK.....now I am working on my F1 which is the old style A PHF36. There is no oring in this carb throat either. I think this is Ducati #079927985. Does anyone know if the dimensions for this oring are 41.00mm x 1.78mm

Thanx much,
Clay
