Post subject:  F1 headers

Can anyone tellme where I can get a good quality set of stainless reproduction headers to suit the F1? Are all the earlier Pantah headers the same, or does port sizing come into it?

Pantah headers are heavy and two into two, the F1 headers are mostly two into 1.

Hi,

Staintune make stainless systems and have covered many Ducati models over the years. Contact them, they may be able to help.

FYI - I have a Staintune two into one "sport" system on my TT. They were an eBay set I had on my Alazzurra. When I stole the Ally engine for the TT, I also needed a more period looking exhaust. The Stainttune headers were the only ones I had to chose from that fit inside the Harris bodywork. Powder coated them black, and mounted them up. They are heavy, but have a nice sound and should be noise legal anywhere. They crash pretty good too.

Why not try Jim Blomley' shop in the UK?

Based on the quality of everything I have seen these must be nice.

I had found the two wheel classic set, but I am wanting to keep the original Conti muffler, and I dont think these headers will work - I will have to e-mail them though to find out for sure. I'm attempting a period correct restoration of my bike, and want to keep it all original.
