Hi, yes another tyre thread! It could be worse, it could be oil, I guess?
I haven't been around here much and have been busy working on getting the F1 back on the road. The frame and swingarm are back from the painters, now just waiting on the wheels. Still a lot to do, but seemingly more has already been done!!
The tyres that were on the rims, whilst seemingly unusued were too old, so have gone to the great tyre wall in the sky. I am looking for tyres and notice that Pirelli make a Sport Demon to suit? I have never been a real fan of Pirelli's, but due to the limited number of 16" fronts I might have to learn to like them.
So is anyone here using them? What do you think of them?
Question 2 on the same topic. I have read that the F1's tend to understeer a bit and fitting a 130/70 rather than a 130/80 to the rear tends to help the bike turn a bit better (I need all the help I can get!!) has anyone tried this with this Tyre type.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Ive run the Sport Demons before on a few different bikes, Darmah, Hawk GT and Guzzi Lario with a 16 inch wheel. I found the Demons a huge upgrade on the Guzzi. I dont have any experience with an F1 as mine has the akronts and use 130 60 16.
