Does anyone have a readable copy of the wiring diagram for the above bike? All of the scanned copies I've come across aren't clear enough to read the wire colour codes.

Also, does anyone know what type of connectors were used on the main harness, or a supplier?

Hi Clinton,
I scanned mine with a little higher resolution, and the color i.d.'s are readable, but this forum apparently won't allow adding a pdf file. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you that way.

The connectors are AMP connectors. The male and female connector pins are readily available at any electronics supply. The plastic housings are a little harder. Steve at Loudbike has some of the 9 pin housings on his site:

Probably the best way to get all the connectors is to get a used harness from a Cagiva Alazurra, Ducati Paso or 750 Sport. You can get a complete Paso harness for $50 or so.

Replacing the connectors with something a little more modern that actually work would be the easy way of doing it, but as this is a restoration project the connectors need to be as per the original harness. I haven't had any joy in locating the correct ones to date.

Which connectors do you need?

MotoBee,
I need to locate the pins for the CDI connectors (the connectors themselves are like new), along with all of the remaining connectors used throughout the harness. Unfortunately, most of the original connectors on mine have either been replaced with whatever the previous owners had at hand, or they have been damaged. I haven't made too big an effort on this just yet, only whiling away some time on Google - I plan to take the harness to an electrical supplier here in Perth who has a good reputation for finding odd things when I can get some time off work.
