Can anyone tell me whats involved in removing the alternator windings from the engine side casing? I've removed the 2 retainers, but it seems awfully tight. is there a special puller or something for this? |

Cancel that - it's just a slide fit. It had grown into place after 25 years & just needed a little "gentle" persuasion to break the seal. |
