Simple question can anyone tell what the later 750 F1 ( Laguna Seca ) has common front sprocket to. Maybe 851. Any thoughts on the availability of sprocket for 525 chain.
Thanks Marc

Hi Marc, I think the number of splines are the same but the Laguna Seca had a 520 chain with a very offset sprocket from Ducati to clear the wider tires. Hope that helps. Lou

Hi Marc, from the Afam catalogue the p/n is 52603 but I don't believe it is used on any other model. I was lucky enough to get one on ebay not that long ago. Maybe contact Afam and see if they can still supply? Regards, Joe

Marc, If you do get one of the off-set sprockets for the Laguna Seca make sure it fits tight on the splines. I have seen several after market off-set sprockets that are slightly loose and cause wear on the shaft. For my race bike I used a sprocket off a newer monster or super sport and made a round aluminum plate an spacer to hold the sprocket further out on the output shaft, holding it all on with a bolt into the center shaft. I used two 5mm bolts to hold the plate to the sprocket and safety wired the three bolts together. This allowed me to get the same off-set as the stock Laguna Seca without the loose sprocket and worn output shaft.

Hey, Marc:
if AFAM can't supply, I have those sprockets in stock - both street and race (stabilizing plate in the offset cavity) in stock.
Regards,
