Sam,
A little of the size factor depends on the motor build specifications. Generally 650 and stock 750 motors use an 1.5" outside diameter head pipes around 19" to 20" in length. For my 803 motor, I use 1.625" diameter and 21" length. Cams, intake manifolds, carbs, and cylinder heads all have a bearing on what would work best for your combination.
