Oh no..pantahgoodie has quoted me again! EPDM is the correct material for the clutch cylinder and should be readily available. I have seen actually 4 piston designs. Early F1 had 31mm O ring in housing. Later F1 and paso-31mm O ring on piston. Alazzura 28mm alloy piston O ring in housing. Last Pasos,851,750 sport 26mm O ring on piston. The firt three take the SKF bearing. That last one is unique. Make sure to run the correct master with each relevant cylinder size. Back to discussion about EPDM rubber. There are many different flavors of EPDM. General pupose EPDM will work with the clutch slave. Other application should be considered carefully as I found out. There is a "modifier" in the rubber of brake caliper seals so this requires a spceial EPDM formula. All discoverd while trying to make replacement seals for the Mark 1 Brembo 4 piston calipers!

Post subject:  Re: Clutch slave o ring- could use one

If you still have some O-rings in stock I could use a couple. Would gladly pay the portion. I found a ring at the hardware store that is close, but have no idea of the material. (btw, I read the McMaster notes and their EPDM is the correct material for hydraulic fluid.)

I have my clutch cover off the '86 F1 because it was squealing like a bastard. Got the exact replacement bearing from local supplier, SKF 630/8-2RS1.
