Well......the list is pretty quiet, its the winter doldrums for most of us in north america. Chime in on what you've been up to or are planning for 2024. I haven't been doing much pantah stuff, been riding on the street a little bit and ran my TZ/SOS for a track day on the small track out at Willow a few months ago. I met my brother in Vegas for that Mecum motorcycle auction in Jan.....didn't go to buy, just to look at the overwhelming number of bikes for sale. I must say.....I don't get some of it and the prices......like a $30k Honda CB350 with a swirly paint job, or a Kawasaki 4 cylinder or 3 cylinder from the 70's that's now worth more than a Vincent :-0. Pantah wise there was almost nothing at the auction.....I think one F3.
I did get a chance to visit with list member and nice guy JohnnyBravo12 and see his beautiful race bikes/pile of racing hardware!! He is a hard core nut like most of you......he is working on some super mono stuff......so this is a shout out and taunt to him to share a little and few pics on what he has been up to.

Lou, what do you think about making a new section for “other” Ducati based projects? I am building a single based on a Pantah twin. Similar to a supermono. I am actually building two. One air cooled and one 4 valve twin cam.
This might be too far away from the TT concept, but maybe others have Ducati projects they would post about?

Sounds amazing Johnnybravo! Post in Pantah hot rods section no problem. I have zero computer skills, so making a new section will be difficult but please post whatever you guys like. We are all motorcycle enthusiasts first no? I pay for the Forum and call Host gator for hours on end when something goes wrong. Eventually I will try and find a web designer who can update the capabilities of the Forum and graphics. I am also having some problems transferring pictures from my phone, that is why I haven't posted some project stuff. Soon, I promise! What's everyone else's excuse? Lou

My other Ducati project. An 848 I bought in October of 2023 for $2800 CAD. I couldn't NOT buy it. I purchased it as such: Over the winter I've swapped out some forks for a "built" set with K-tech internals, an Ohlins (and then, Nitron) rear shock, race bodywork and a home-grown paint job. General clean up as well -- along with stronger battery cables, a lithium battery, and an upgraded reg/rec. Should be fun. .jpg.381bb8f4fd4b87d3213156de12051679.jpg)

Clay,
That’s the YouTube star James Sheppard. His channel is quite good. He’s also building a TT2 tribute bike. I think he’s a bit like Huit loves building bikes.
I’m getting some photos together to start a thread about my mono projects.

Even if half a Pantah … it is still a Pantah. Post away. MikeV

JB Youtube star??? Not sure; hard to compete with millennials who eat tide pods to get clicks. That being said, like and subscribe... I'm only 99,700 subscribers away from getting paid... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oO7qCBMfq0
