I mean no disrespect, but when things get to this stage, silicone doesn’t really do the job. Like when i see it on oil and brake fittings, and other odd places people try it. If it is acting that poorly it is probably “gone”. There are some who sell these as rebuilt, but they must be experts at electrical components. Maybe a computer “techie” could rewire and seal it correctly. Sometimes they test as OK, but then won’t fire in a certain RPM range. Time to round up the Kokusan parts. MikeV
PS: how is the (birthday) TT2 coming?

Hi MikeiV Thank you for replying All is clear, mine is just an odd attempt to let this Bosch pick-up work, Trying to give them a further chance. But this is probably a waste of time. So I have to check on my spare parts hoping to have all the need to switch in Kokusan
I cannot install kokusan in the stock rotor, this is correct?
BirTTday is stil. me and the team was very busy on last summer. Hope to put hands back on it soon.
Filippo

Stock rotor bumps are in wrong place and wrong shape for Kokusan pickups. MikeV

Look in the Dec 2015 TT2 technical posts about the flywheels. Maybe a good machinist could trim that Pantah timing bump down, and use your flywheel. Brad Black (BikeBoy) certainly tried things like that. But you would need a modern one to look at for measurements. MikeV

yes i will ask my friend machinist about the chance to modify a stock one, without look for a spare.
About the pick-up from Gowanloch i buy the same from en italian dealer, the main problem i had was to install properly into the pick-up mount and find the precise angular distance of 90 degres, i never reach this precision, need a pro to set these properly, not a easy job for me. Filippo

Filippo, sometimes the best is to walk away from what you are doing and come back at a later day. You will get it, it took me a few tries before I heard the beautiful music!
