I really wanted to use this now-modified by-me swingarm, because i believe it to be an original NCR part. But it turns out to be way too narrow to fit things in with these EPM wheels i will use. Both have the same hub width, and will not sit center, in addition to leaving little room to put a caliper hanger on it. So the plan is to modify this Verlicchi Pantah swingarm to resemble a TT1 mono-shock part. It is narrow towards the front to clear the footpegs hangers, and an inch and 1/2 wider at the axle. It will center the wheel and accept this scarce Goldline caliper and Brembo trailing-rod hanger. This means more adventures in Aluminum fabrication (pipe benders and cut-off wheels) - and TIG welding. Wish me luck. MikeV Attachment:

Hey Mike... Fun times indeed. So, with the wheel centered in the swingarm, are the front and rear sprockets going to line up or is that another bridge to cross?

Well now i will be have room to do that. To work left and right till i get it there. With the steel swingarm it was not close to center, and things around the rear sprocket and bolts were in conflict with the inner sliding plates. I would not have room to even slide the necessary washer/spacer in there on the outside of the left side bearing. It is these particular EPM wheels with the wider-than-usual hubs that is the problem. Step 1: Got the shock tower done. Working on bending the tubes today. Attachment:

Got the tubes bent. They turned out amazingly “identical” in the angle and outer dimensions of the bends. Got lucky. They were packed with sand, and corks taped into the ends. You can see where this is going. Not bad for a first try on this clunky piece of equipment. MikeV Attachment:
