I had an excellent weekend at Gingerman with AHRMA. I took a first in Vintage Superbike Middleweight on Saturday and a second place today! I was running 1:54's pretty consistently with two 1:52's. I can't wait for next weekends race at Road America. The repave at Gingerman is just outstanding. Grip was unbelievable and really showed me some of the weakpoints of the bike and my riding. I really need to find an exhaust that is tucked in tighter, I was scraping that pretty consistently. I also need to get some better rear shocks and tighten up the swingarm pivot.

The bike ran excellent, but I did have to make a pit repair after practice on Friday. The rear cylinder lost spark in the very last session. Even though I replaced the Bosch pickup wires when I built the engine, the wires ended up breaking off cleanly where they enter the pickup. I bring a TON of extra tools and such....and yes, even a soldering iron. I cut away some of the plastic, re-soldered the wires and put it back together in about 2 hours. Ran like a champ for the rest of the weekend.

What are some good shocks you guys would recommend for a Pantah?

Depending on how much money you want to spend njb are reasonably priced and can be built to your spec.
Waldridge motors, they have made stuff for me, Canadian funds too!!
