Hi,

I am building a Pantah bitsa here in Denmark. I started with a bare frame, slotted in a 1995 750 engine. The fork is from a 1991 Yamaha FZR 600 with 38 mm stanchions. I use a 18" Yamaha SR500 front wheel, so a bit different than yours. I had to shorten the triple three stanchion a bit. I got headstock bearings from all balls. The FZR stanchions proved to be too long, so I got hold of a pair of 600 Diversion (!) stanchions and all is well now. I added YSS cartridge emulators and 0.8 kg springs from sonic springs and cheap preload adjusters from eBay (not on in the picture). I am still building, but I measured all the critical measurements on a friends Pantah and it seems within range.

Top is 35mm F3 yoke bored out to 38mm on a mill. Very accurate 195.00mm hole centers.
Bottom is MHR 38mm. Approx 195mm but the factory tolerances wandered a tiny bit. I haven't clocked this one up.

Spare pin is F1/F3.

Message me if interested to buy or swap.

I have to change the stanchions as well so I might have to search for some Diversion stanchions as well.My idea was to use RaceTech gold valve emulators in the FZR fork. Did You have to rethread the triple tree stanchion or was there enough threads left?
