I was pretty sure that this pin is broken. Then I found this for sale at Stein Dinse. Are they advertising a part that is broken as well? The control pin I have seems to only exist in my garage. Can't find an example of it anywhere on the WWW. Anyone recognize it and what model and it came from?

And I have one or two here. I think Ducati could not decide if the longer pin was needed or not. Then they added them. Maybe just an earlier version?

Could be one of the first (red) series Pantah engine plates.
They were messing around with the gearbox of the parallel twin and had trouble with the primary.
No wonder they were experimenting with other parts.
I could check with an early engine, but it's in storage so only if it's a matter of great importance.
Otherwise I have a garage to build before the winter
