Howdy gang.....
I finally got my kitchen remodeling done so I am starting to play in the garage a little now. I am just working on my low/no budget Alazzurra project, nothing cool like you hard core guyz.....I havent seen many posts on here lately. Anyway, while working in the garage I noticed this, compare the first 2 pictures, were these 2 frames from the same designer? :-) But seriously......what is the frame in the last picture.

See ya,
Clay

In Germany that type of "Egli" frame was used frequently by a number of framebuilders but I've never seen it on a Pantah.
Except, while searching for some info on Elefants, for this 1981 entry in the Paris-Dakar.
Don't know where it is, crashed in the desert and not sure it has been rescued.

Cal...
Why does your "used" Alazzurra look like a "new" Alazzurra?

The second frame, the one with no suspension, and not much else, reminds me of a neighbor next door when I was growing up. There was a 1940 Ford Deluxe coupe in the garage that would be his when he reached 16. And, he rode a black Cushman Mustang in the mean time. A real motorcycle. So damn coooool. I do not remember if he had a DA or not; I will clarify the latter if anyone asks. MikeV

Hi Cal
I saw a similar framed Pantah as per your last pic, racing at Imola three years ago. The owner came from Germany I believe. We had a talk about the bike but I haven't any pics.
. Sorry.

By the way
what kind of modified wet/dry clutch is installed on the bike we are talking about?
Never seen before.
Ciao
Filippo
