Cannot say with any certainty, but somewhere between 135 and 150 psi on a warm engine would probably be good —- readings within 5 psi on the pair. The latter is just as important. MikeV
So what are you getting?
After finish overhaulig ( lapping same valves on their seats , replacement of piston rings ) finally piston pressure measured 150 plus for Horizontal and 140 plus for Vertical cylinder.
A difference about 10 psi. Not exactly the perfect prefer .... but that΄s it now ....!
The reason of overhauling was the big consumption of oil , piston rings found worn. Valves and their guides found in very good condition.
Really it is very strange for me , this piston rings worn fault after 70.000 Km on my Pantah ....... I believed their life should be more than 100.000 Km at least.
Any experience from yours side ?
