Thanx you guyz.......
I dont know what I will do with this thing. You guyz know I am not a roadracer or a builder. I may track it a time or 2, I may just look at it, may trade it later for something I can use on the street. And I hate to admit it Flatty......I did think about trying to make it street legal. Mike mentioned the windscreen....you guyz would laugh at me. I bet I spent 10 hours trying to fit that screen. Its for a different year but I got it with the bike. I had to try and reshape the nose of the screen to be less pointed and flatten out the bubble contour some. You may be able to see in this pic just above the yellow number plate.....wellnuts probably have to go.

But now you know how hard it would be to explain that to someone! A full day for doing the first one. I don’t see any cracks. You did great. MikeV

Hey Cal, you are a step ahead of all those guys that just never try!
The fun is overcoming all the little setbacks on the way to making a project your own!
Well done!

Thanx again you guyz. I probably wont be posting much for awhile as I dont have any Duc projects. But, I will continue to lurk. I am going to finish off this thumper and then I have a beautiful original 83 LeMans III thats been sitting in my garage for about 6 years. It hasnt been ran since the mid 90's. The goal will be to keep it as original as possible but get it running again and all detailed and prettied up. I am going to try and finish that off before I even consider another bike (hopefully).
