What could have been !

I was sorting through some of my photographs today and came across these photos of the experimental four cylinder "Pantah" that the factory was developing.

Thanks Pat, interesting intake orientation. Is there a little liquid cooling going on there? Do you know what the capacity was? Is there a possibility the fourth picture is flipped over or mirror image??

From what I can remember Bill the capacity was "around" 900cc . I can not remember what, or if even any power curves were completed. It was remiss of me not to write anything on the back of these photographs. I will make some enquiries and try to find out more.

I seem to remember reading about this engine in Cathcarts book, Prototypes and "something"? (specials?)
I'll dig it up tonight.
(Cathcart isn't clear but says oil cooling and 750 to 1000cc). Graeme

Thanks for posting that Pat, it's the most interesting thing I've seen in the last few months.

Were they working on it for a customer, like the Apollo was for Berliner (the American importer) ?
