Hi, I'm from Spain (Barcelona), and I have a cagiva alazzurra 650 for a racing pantah project. Sorry, i do'nt speak english very well.
I have bough the bike (is with hidrĂ¡ulic clutch mecanism, and clutch in oil), and when I removed the clutch cover, don't have's never of oil, but in the engine crankcase was 2 liter of oil. I don't understand this situation, because the engine oil filler cap is on the clutch cover and comunicate with the crankcase throught de bearings, no? so is impossible it have oil in engine , but no oil in clutch.
Any ideas of why?
Thanks so much, is very difficult find information and solutions for problems like this.

Normal. Once you take the cover off and some oil comes out in the pan that is all there is to see. Especially if the bike is leaning on the sidestand. Loosen the oil drain plug and see what happens --- put a pan under it! Nothing is rusted on the clutch side, so I think it had oil when it was last run. But two liters is not enough for the engine, and not enough to make this side really oily when you take the cover off. MikeV

Hello! No first I was removed the clutch cover, and there was no oil. Then, I was removed the engine drain plug (photo2), and drain 2 liters of oil.
Say you, that in this position (leaning on the sidestand) , all the oil goes to the other side and for this reason are not in the clutch?
thanks
