It is good to start off a new project with a firm and stable work bench. You hit that nail on the head :D Yup, clip-ons look a bit modern.

What method did you use for painting the frame - powder coat, spray paint, how many coats etc? Did you brew up enough paint to coat the rest of the bike - so that you get an exact colour match for frame and bodywork?

Cheers,

I've got a pal Mike, who's 2kms up the road. He does bodywork and spraying, and can match any colours somehow. He repairs my fairing when I fall, and you can't see where the new meets the old !

Ciao Dick, Sicily is a land very beautiful, I've never been, I have many friends in Sicily and one day I decide to make 1000 km and go for a nice vacation.
Spend a good holiday, and congratulations on the new project.

Very beautiful plates of the fork! Ciao!!! ;)

Hell, I know this is taking some time, but I have other things which are getting in the way.
However, I picked up the tank this morning from Jacques after he's done the colour and laquered it.
The decals were made in England by The Image Works .......... a very helpful outfit .

Forgot to say, I had the tank made in 2mm aluminium with the part which sits below the frame rails slightly smaller to make things easier. It's got safety foam inside to run with minimal quantity . Newton Equipment aero-style filler cap .....what else ?
