Thanks Dick, it will help pass the winter months! When I purchsed it I was told it was a racebike at one time, then converted back to the street, the bore was 90mm and it had ncr#7 cams and 40mm flatslides so i decided it was worth making it into a project. paul

Finally had some time to get a little more done on the frame mod, to take the rising rate monster swingarm. Progress is slow, but I will get there, heads are back from getting new guides seats and reshaping the combustion chamber Found a really good used tig welder that I can use at home! Paul

Thanks for starting this project post, Paul. We can now watch you and Boucher create some unique Pantahs. MikeV

Mike, I hold you responsible!!! I had a pantah racebike, and I wished it would have looked your's.... so now I will try and make some thing just a little different. My original plan was to use twin shocks, but I had some stuff lying around the shop that needed a place to go. I am still not sure what front end to use, I have a set of sportclassic forks but I am not sure of what I will end up with. There are a lot of great thing going on here(this forum) Thanks for the encouragement. Paul

Not much time to do things the past few weeks, work keeps getting in the way! The heads are ready to be installed, hopefully that is my job this week.

Now I see the black tape holding the frame tubes on! Are those the race heads you mentioned? What cams are in them? We need an update Paul. MikeV

Mike the cams are ncr#7s, should be a fun little bike when done. I finally got some welding done, just have the peg hangers to do plus any other add ons once I fit most of the gear back on. Haven't decided what front end to use, upside down or conventional. I should be finished work in about 3 weeks so I can build the seat and tank units, taps and caps have been ordered and should be here next week.
