Curious Boucher: What pistons are you going to use? Modern 88mm 800cc to go with the heads? And I see a rubber band crankshaft of some model; did it conveniently fit inside the bevel case with just normal shims?. And some really long-looking Carrillo rods; are they a custom length?

Hi mike, 88mm pistons to suit heads. T140 rods. Not custom just modified. Boucher.

Plumbed relief valve in. It’s a modified TL 1000 valve. Boucher.

How are you planning on mating the left and right sides of the crank to the primary and timing gear? I have often thought about if something like this would be possible.

Dave, it’s not that difficult, a couple of thick steel shims on either side of the crank. You also have to plug a oil hole and a bit of machining on the timing gear side. The main thing is to upgrade the oil pump and restrict oil volume to the heads. We will see if it works or not. Boucher.
