I also think these look better because, since they are 17 wheels, they are not hidden by the big rotors. The 16 inch wheels, with the matte finish inside, just disappeared behind them. MikeV

Thanks Jon! Great to have you peek in! Hope all is well. This is not the finished product, but I wanted to make sure I was moving in the right direction. Made the preload spacer, mounted the tire and still have to make captive spacers. Fender has to come up just a bit. Then final polish. The rear will be a challenge, as I have to make a hub/bearing adapter for the rear rotor, Then figure out the sprocket side bearing holder. The hole is huge. Lou

Holy smoke! Almost a year since I touched this bike. Finished up my red/silver TT1, well as finished as it can be for now. Pulled out the alloy bike. Sometimes you have to put something aside to clear your head a bit. First thing, take off the old swingarm and make sure the over racing swingarm will fit in the frame. It's does just fit, so fitting the big rear wheel will work. Ordered some aluminum to machine the rotor carrier as well as another bearing. I think I figured out how to make the preload spacer work. I'll take pictures of the mess as soon as I get going. Lou

Bad pictures, good progress. The rear wheel still needs a bit of fitment to work, but now I believe it will fit nicely. Just mocked up for now. Finally a nice day, I can open the garage door. Lou

I do like those wheels more than the Oscams; Although they were unique, and you spent a lot of time on them.

I know you will replace that tail with a hand-beaten aluminum one. And eventually produce a dustbin fairing for this.

Q: Did you do that fender on the English wheel? Looks very good from here. How do we place an order? And what is expected delivery time?

No 'dustbin' fairing. Ambitiously a TT1 fairing. Thanks Mike, I'm loving these wheels. I believe I have the rear rotor hub adapter figured out. I'm going back to the old silver calipers for now, they look better. If I can find a pair of GP one's or two's with a crappy finish I will strip them and see how they look. For now I really like the look of the original ones I installed. If I were a younger man Mike, I would have started a TT business for the half dozen guys that needed parts from me. Lol! Lou

Hey Lou.... Break out the hammers and dollies. An aluminium TT fairing would look great on this bike. As for the brake carrier, don't be like me. You could probably form the fairing up in less time than it took me to machine this.
