Hi!
I have not been completely un-busy in the garage, even though there is no Ducati on the bench at the moment.

Short-term: The Mono has a a general look-over. Will fit a Brembo Moto2 caliper with pump on it for test later on. If later on will appear. Feel that the bike wants and needs more than I can offer at the moment, so put it out for sale. Zero interest so far, so just as well keep it. I know that I would have regretted it anyhow. But if sold, I have a TT project to pick up for some of the cash... :D

Medium-term: The Harris Rotax 250 is the most active project at the moment. First assembly is done, as always there are some modifications necessary. Target to have it on wheels come summer. (Which is NOT May here...) :D

Long-term: I have assembles the chassis of the Gilera Piuma, most to make it easier to handle and to decrease the number of boxes in the shelves.. Been completely apart since 2010-ish when I threw myself into the graveltrap as the right handlebar broke off. New engine needs to be built from scratch, that is a lot of work.

/Björn

Hello All,
I haven't been good at posting and keeping up. This winter I worked with Cranky on fixing a crashed-up Duc 748 for our Japanese friend to ride next summer. Now I am just servicing my 750-F1. It was raced in AAMRR and AMA a long time ago. The engine rebuilt a couple seasons ago. I rode it at several track days in 2024 and it's running better than ever! I also have a 996 but prefer this one because the lighter weight and nicer torque makes it easy to ride. I bought a little toy-hauling camper to make it more comfortable at the track and ordered some new Vanson leathers. I hope to enter this F1 in several track days and have some fun. See you at the Symposium!
Rich P

Winter work: new tires, brake pads, clutch plates, valve adjustment, belt and oil changes, etc.

Hey Rich. We met at the NH Adamo memorial gathering in 2013. The bike is looking good. And glad to see that are you still putting it to use. MikeV
